More than 100 dental prostheses have been delivered and installed to patients in Guárico so far this year, according to information from the Sonrisa Mission.
In this regard, the coordinator of Oral Health and the Smile Mission in the entity, Dr. Arquimedes Araujo, also specified that more than 4,000 consultations, 1,300 extractions and more than 2,000 cleanings have been carried out.
“This area had not been operating for years and thanks to the rehabilitation and intervention of the National and Regional Government, we are already in full swing,” he said, while explaining that this program “seeks to guarantee oral health and improve the quality of life of Guariqueños, responding directly to reports and requests channeled through the VenApp platform, community days and grandparents' circles.”
