MONAGAS - MATURÍN/Marleny Contreras: Here are the Chavistas who are going to defend the Homeland and we are going to defeat them

At the beginning of the electoral campaign, ahead of the presidential elections on July 28, the deputy and revolutionary leader Marleny Contreras stated this Thursday that the guarantee of peace for Venezuela is the Bolivarian Revolution and warned of the fascist attempts of the extreme right against the Homeland.

From Maturín, in the state of Monagas, during a massive mobilization in support of the country's candidate, Nicolás Maduro, Contreras criticized the ambitions of opposition extremism to “seize this sacred land that is our Venezuela, but this revolutionary people will not allow them to hand over our people and our land to the North American empire, because that's what we are fighting against.”

He reiterated that “this people love their country and we are going to win (...) we are going to do the work after the vote, because we do know how to do the work with our structures, I congratulate the youth, the community leaders, the street bosses who are here and who are working with our people every day”.

He pointed out that extremists have the nerve to ask Venezuelans to vote after having done so much harm and try to manipulate through social networks, so he urged the people not to be deceived. “Here are the real people (...) here are the Chavistas who are going to defend the Homeland and we are going to defeat them so that they will never try again against our people.”
