Misión Venezuela Bella rehabilitates colonial temple of Santa Ana in Nueva Esparta

The Bolivarian Government, through the Great Venezuela Bella Mission, recovered the colonial temple of Santa Ana, Gómez municipality in the state of Nueva Esparta. The infrastructure was given to the fully rehabilitated community and is a historic monument, a symbol of the nation's cultural heritage.

The rehabilitation of the temple is part of a program that has restored 27 Catholic churches in Nueva Esparta and more than 780 nationwide.

The president of the Great Venezuela Bella Mission, Jacqueline Faria, quoted by the regional press, explained that the restoration included a series of exhaustive works: “On Margarita Island, we have rehabilitated 27 Catholic churches. This church in honor of Santa Ana has been completely recovered: waterproofing, wall remodeling, restoration of windows, lighting and polishing,” he explained.
