A total of 70 children with strabismus underwent surgery through the Miracle Mission in the city of Barinas.


According to information published on the Latest News (UN) web portal, the conference was held at the Dr. Samuel Darío Maldonado Maternal and Child Hospital , where patients captured through the 1×10 Good Governance program were treated.


In this regard, Dr. Claudia Bernate, regional director of health in the state, reported that this operation performs about 15 surgeries a day to correct this pathology.

“Free care is guaranteed and with a group of specialists from the Miracle Mission, these actions are on instructions from President Nicolás Maduro,” he said.
