Miranda revalidates her leadership: East 2024 National Games culminate

With the state of Miranda at the top of the medal table to revalidate its leadership, the 2024 Eastern National Sports Games culminate. The closing ceremony will be this Sunday.

Although there are still some disciplines to be defined, the Mirandina delegation is established as an irreversible champion, repeating the feat of the last edition.

Miranda has accumulated 99 gold, 81 silver and 79 bronze medals, for a total of 259 medals so far, followed by Caracas in second place with 70-75-58 for a total of 203 metals and Carabobo in third place with 62-54-59 for 175 medals.

With the participation of more than 7,000 athletes from all over the country, the Eastern 2024 National Sports Games were held from November 8 to 24, with headquarters in the states of Sucre, Monagas and Anzoátegui, where more than 30 facilities were equipped by the Bolivarian Government to ensure the proper development of this sporting festival.
