The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, said that “we had a hard time with the economic war when the right wing called for sanctions against Venezuela just for hurting the country.” This was stated by the First National President, during a visit he made this Friday to the town of Santa Lucía in the state of Miranda, as part of the pilgrimage he is carrying out throughout the national territory.

“We've been through the worst, here what's coming is a time to improve, to grow and to improve,” he said.

The Head of State asked the population if they want a manipulable president or a workers' and people's president, to which the crowd answered in his favor, in favor of the “pinto rooster”.
