The candidate of
the Venezuelan revolutionary forces, Nicolás Maduro, predicted a
resounding victory in the presidential elections on July 28.
“I am Nicolás
Maduro, son of Guaicaipura and we are going to a great victory. I come by all
roads, from the Amazon jungle, I come from the deep drums of
Barlovento, I come from La Guajira with the Wayúu baton of command, I come from the Deep
Homeland,” he said from Los Teques, in Miranda state, where he was greeted by a massive rally.
In this regard,
he emphasized that “we are 20 days away from the greatest victory we have ever
had in our country. And that victory must be sealed with the strength of a conscious,
prepared, united and very organized people”.
