The state of Miranda continues to be the leader of the overall medal table of the Eastern 2024 National Sports Games, accumulating 87 golds, 75 silvers and 73 bronzes, for a total of 235 metals.
On Friday, the 4×400 mixed relay athletics team from Miranda state won the gold medal at the Eastern 2024 National Sports Games.
The quartet formed by Luís Fuentes, Sara Díaz, Roineld Lara and María Rojas, thanks to their power, speed and coordination as a team in the tartan, managed to reach the finish line first, and stop the clock in three minutes, 32 seconds and 76 hundredths.
In this way, the current monarchs of the games are followed by Caracas with 61- 68- 53 for a total of 182 metals and third Carabobo with 60- 50- 53 for a total of 163.
