MIPPCI delivered equipment to Portuguese community broadcasters (+Communication Route)

The Ministry of Popular Power for Communication and Information (MIPPCI) supervised three community broadcasters in the Portuguese state and provided technical equipment to improve their operating conditions and the quality of their transmissions.

The conference, which is part of the Communication Route, was led by a commission from the General Directorate of Alternative and Community Media (MAC), headed by its general director, Iván McGregor, who visited Radio Ospinera 94.5 FM, Éxito 88.5 FM and Siguaraya Radio 91.3 FM.

During the tour, the team evaluated the infrastructure and operational needs of the stations, in addition to formalizing the delivery of equipment to strengthen their technical capabilities.

The initiative also included legal advice, inter-institutional coordination and training in popular communication, as part of supporting alternative and community media.
