Ministry of Transport announces night closure of the La Planicie II Tunnel in Caracas

The Ministry of People's Power for Transportation reported that access to the La Planicie II Tunnel, located on the North-South Highway in Caracas, will be completely closed from September 30 to October 2, 2026, to carry out maintenance work.
In
a statement published on its social networks, the transport portfolio explained that
the work will be carried out between 9:00 at night
and 5:00 in the morning.
The tasks
are part of the Comprehensive Tunnel Maintenance and Sanitation Plan and are
carried out by the Road Maintenance Company (ENVIAL), an entity attached to the
Ministry of People's Power for Transport, in order to guarantee the
smooth and safe mobility of all.
In addition, the
Ministry of Transport invited drivers and users of that road to take
their forecasts during the development of these works.
