The Ministry of Popular Power for Tourism certified in Yaracuy the validation of the community tourist routes From Art to Cacao and from Cacao to Chocolate and Altura, Gusto y Chocolate, which are active and fully under the command of seasoners and visitors.

These new routes linked to cacao were formed in the communities of La Marroquina, in San Felipe, and El Placer and Guaratibana, in Trinidad. Both community initiatives were nominated for the 2024 National Tourism Award in the areas of community and sustainable tourism.

The validation of the routes involves local guides and tour operators, as well as those who make up the state's production chain at national and international fairs, said a regional press release.
