Ministry of the Penitentiary Service evicts inmates from the Training Center for New Men in Caracas

The Minister of Popular Power for the Penitentiary Service,
Celsa Bautista, announced the eviction of the prison population from the Simón Bolívar
Training Center for New Men, located in the city of Caracas.
Through his account on the social network X, Bautista explained
that the prison population was transferred to different establishments in
the regions of the country, according to their legal situation; with
family approach and to their courts of origin.
“In these spaces, we will set up the Technical
Guidance and Supervision Unit No. 1 of the Capital District, of the General Directorate of
Regions for Graduates and with Benefits of the Penal System,” announced the Minister.
He also indicated that areas of trades such as
textiles, bakery and automotive mechanics of the Autonomous Institute of
Penitentiary Labor Fund will be activated, with the workforce of graduates of the Criminal System.
“From the Ministry of People's Power for the Penitentiary Service, we guarantee the Human Rights of those deprived of their liberty; in addition to alternative measures and formulas for serving sentences that do not involve deprivation of liberty,” Bautista added.
