Ministry of Public Works executes Weeding and Road Optimization in Los Caracas-Chuspa-Chirimena

In order to guarantee safer and more functional roads for local communities and the tourism sector, the Ministry of Popular Power for Public Works successfully implements the Weeding and Road Optimization Plan on the Los Caracas-Chuspa-Chirimena highway in the states of La Guaira and Miranda.

The works cover more than 60 kilometers of intervention in land conditioning, highlighting the weeding of 42.5 km on the Los Caracas-Chuspa section and 18 km on the Chuspa-Aricagua route.

In addition, the day includes manual cleaning of ditches, excavation and removal of debris over 31 km in both sections, in addition to 21 km of weed fumigation between Chuspa and Urama for comprehensive preventive maintenance.

As part of the structural conditioning of the road artery, the tasks also include preparing land for emptying ditches and applying concrete to 7.5 km of the Chuspa-Aricagua section, thus reinforcing the drainage and durability of the road.

This important infrastructure project has a direct and positive impact on the quality of life of 11,600 residents of the area, while optimizing the mobility and safety of approximately 4,000 tourists and visitors who travel daily along this important coastal route.
