Ministry of Health to carry out special operation for cataract operations in Sucre

Through a special operation, the Ministry of People's Power for Health will treat nearly 1,200 people with cataract and pterygium surgery in the state of Sucre. This was reported by the governor of the region, Gilberto Pinto, who added that the action will take place next week.

The regional president stressed that they are planning with specialists from Misión Milagros, to carry out this important operation that seeks to continue treating people suffering from these visual pathologies.

Pinto added that with these days, the Sucrense entity will have a total of 2,400 people operating in the entity. “We are going to be operating about 1,200 more people and, 1,200 who intervened in the past semester are 2,400, we would have a delay of 600 people pending throughout the state, which with the support of President Nicolás, we are sure we are going to attend to as well,” said the entity's first civil authority quoted by the regional press.

I specify that in the operation, the people who made the request through the VenApp platform of the 1×10 of Good Governance will be prioritized.
