Ministry of Health evaluated health system and defines operational route for the coming months

With the purpose of evaluating the health system and setting the operational route for the coming months, the Minister of Popular Power for Health and president of the Venezuelan Social Security Institute (IVSS), Carlos Alvarado, led a strategic meeting with vice-ministers, directors of the Office and the board of directors of both institutions.
During the working groups, the authorities reviewed the healthcare and community advances achieved throughout the country, while defining priorities for the final stretch of the year in order to guarantee the quality, free and efficiency of the public health service.
With these guidelines, the National Public Health System (SPNS) consolidates social protection policies and ratifies its permanent commitment to the well-being of the Venezuelan people.
