Ministry of Health develops vaccination day in Portuguesa

More than 14,000 doses were applied in the Portuguese state, during the Bolivarian Vaccination Celebration, which took place across the country in the last week of April.

A team from the Ministry of People's Power for Health toured the 14 municipalities of the state with the objective of starting, continuing and completing the vaccination schedule in children.

According to the press release from the ministerial health portfolio, the campaign also focused on strengthening immunoprevention in pregnant women and school-age children, protecting them from diseases such as tuberculosis, yellow fever, polio, measles, rubella and mumps
