Ministry of Health and Mayor of Ocumare de la Costa hold National Surgical Plan Day

With the objective of providing specialized and free medical care to the population of the Aragüan coast, an intensive day of the National Surgical Plan was held at the facilities of the Santiaga Hermoso Popular Clinic, located in the Ocumare municipality of the Gold Coast.
During the operation, sterilization procedures are carried out as well as minor surgery, directly benefiting patients previously recruited and evaluated in the municipality's healthcare network.
The mayor, Wilmer Leal, highlighted the importance of this deployment for Ocumarean families and thanked the governor of the entity, Johana Sánchez, for her attention to the population.
“We continue to guarantee health care for our Costa Rican people. Thanks to direct coordination with the National Government and the Regional Executive, we make it possible for our neighbors to access free and quality surgeries with first-class medical personnel without having to travel outside the municipality,” he said.
