Ministry of Fisheries donates 3,000 kg of marine protein to communities in Falcón

More than three thousand kilos of animal protein of marine origin were donated by the Popular Ministry of Fisheries and Aquaculture, to the communities of the municipalities of Palmasola (Palmasola), Monsignor Iturriza (Chichiriviche), Cacique Manaure (Yaracal) and Silva (Tucacas) in the state of Falcón.

These are actions within the framework of the Venezuela operation such as +Fish and in it, 1,118 kg of fish were given to the councils of artisanal fishermen and women fishermen to the community of Palmasola. A total of 1,486 kg of fish protein was donated by the CONPPA of Chichiriviche and Yaracal to their communities and through the El Cardumen Va program, the fishermen from the CONPPA Crisólogo Jesús Soto in Tucacas delivered fish and aquatic protein combos to the communities.

This activity aims to promote the consumption of fish and aquaculture products in the country, thus strengthening the food security of the population.
