Minister Villegas invited to participate in the new course on Caribbean language

Through his Telegram channel, the Minister of Popular Power for Culture, Ernesto Villegas, extended the invitation to participate in the free course on Caribbean language, which will be taught by Professor Esteban Emilio Mosonyi.
In this regard, he explained that the course starts this Wednesday, March 12, from 9:00 in the morning to 12:00 noon and will be aimed at all the population interested in learning about this linguistic heritage.
“This course represents a unique opportunity to learn the language of the historic cacique Guaicaipura and the native peoples,” he said.
He also emphasized the importance of this initiative as a means to preserve and promote the cultural wealth of the indigenous peoples of Venezuela and the Caribbean. In addition, he emphasized that the course reflects the commitment of the Ministry of Culture to the valuation and dissemination of ancestral languages. “Don't miss it! The Cariban language comprises a group of indigenous languages that were spoken in Venezuela and other regions of the Caribbean, including Kariña, Pemón, Waikerí and Itoto Majun. It also includes linguistic varieties present in areas such as Cuba, the Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, Panama and northern Colombia, as well as in the Caribbean basin, a Venezuelan Television review.
