Minister Sánchez: Student Movement raises its flags with President Maduro

This Thursday, November 21, the Minister of Popular Power for University Education, Ricardo Sánchez, assured that today university students raise their fighting flag at the hands of President Nicolás Maduro.
In this regard, during the march for University Student
Day in Caracas, he highlighted the development of the Congress
of the Federation of University Students of Venezuela, in which
young people reaffirmed their commitment to work in accordance with the National Development Plan and to improve academic quality.
“Venezuelan universities put their
best capacities based on the National Development Plan and
based on the 18 productive engines (...) students give their proposals and
initiatives for what it means to improve academic quality in
universities,” he said.
He recalled that the Congress brought together
representatives from 94 universities who had the opportunity to debate,
propose ideas and proposals that reaffirm the commitment of the student sector to the needs of the
Venezuelan people.
He assured that today the young people of Venezuela are “a reference
for human capital, of what is meant by the historical strength of that energy of
more than five generations that today contribute so that Venezuela has a present and
a future.”
He stressed that the conclusions of the Congress and the
proposals on entrepreneurship, productivity and science-technology,
among others, by students will be taken into account by the
Ministry of University Education to improve educational quality.
In addition, he affirmed that the Bolivarian Government remains committed to the recovery of university spaces despite difficulties.
