Minister Reverol oversees maintenance works on a 400 kV power line in Zulia

The Presidential Commission for the Rescue, Conservation and Sustainable Development of Lake Maracaibo, supervised this Thursday the maintenance work being carried out on Line No. 2, Tablazo-Cuatricentenario at 400 kV, in the state of Zulia.

This was reported by the Sectorial Vice President of Public Works and Services, G/J Néstor Reverol, in a press release stating that the tasks include the replacement of more than 60 km of conductor in 85 towers, whose phase B includes seven of them, located in the middle of this important freshwater reservoir.

“This is a major project that is being carried out for 63 days, with the objective of giving more reliability and stability to the electrical system of the Zulian entity,” said Reverol.

He stated that these tasks are being carried out by the workforce of the National Electric Corporation (CORPOELEC) and experts in the area, with the support of Petroleos de Venezuela, the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB) and the Bolivarian National Police (PNB).

“All together joining forces for the growth of this productive land,” concluded the minister of People's Power for Electric Energy (MPPEE).
