Minister Padrón: Venezuela's tourism sector has grown for 11 consecutive quarters

This Tuesday, July 9th, the Minister of People's Power for Tourism, Ali Padrón, highlighted that Venezuela's tourism sector has been growing for 11 consecutive quarters.

“The country continues to prepare to break the oil rentier model and diversify the economy,” he said, noting that it was Commander Hugo Chávez, who promoted this sector in the country, according to information on the website of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela.

He also highlighted part of the actions carried out by the Ministry for Tourism, including “a plan for outreach through tour operators. We have brought in the biggest tour operators in Portugal, as well as influencers.”

He also highlighted the award of the first tourism quality seal, to recognize service providers who raise Venezuelan standards on an international scale. At the same time, he announced the future opening of the first accessible beach in Adícora, Falcón state, intended for the enjoyment of people with physical or intellectual disabilities.
