Minister Padrino López held a meeting with the UN Panel of Electoral Experts

The Minister of Popular Power for Defense, Vladimir Padrino López, held a meeting with representatives of the Panel of Electoral Experts of the United Nations (UN), at the headquarters of the ministerial office, with the objective of evaluating the technical and technological aspects of the Venezuelan electoral system, for the next presidential elections, which will take place on July 28.
The information was provided by Padrino López, through a video posted on his account on the social network X, which shows the participation of the head of the Strategic Operational Command of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (CEOFANB), Domingo Hernández Lárez, and the rector of the National Electoral Council (CNE), Aura Hernández.
Padrino López highlighted the relevance of the visit of the UN Panel of Experts, describing it as “important and rewarding” for the electoral process and the nation's democracy.
He also highlighted Venezuela's policy of openness to international observers, in line with the guidelines established by the CNE. “You know that here in Venezuela we open the doors to all international observers, in accordance with the guidelines of the CNE,” he said.
This invitation not only allows us to evaluate the technical and technological conditions of the electoral system, but also strengthens transparency and trust in the process.
