Minister of Transportation reopens the Matea Black Early Childhood Education Center (+Metro de Caracas)

They expand the educational center's attention capacity from 64 to 120 children

This Monday, May 13, the “Negra Matea” Autonomous Early Childhood Education Center was reinaugurated, an institution that serves children between two and six years of age, children of workers in the Caracas Metro Metro.

This was reported by the Minister of Popular Power for Transportation, Ramón Velásquez Araguayán, through a post on his account on the social network X, where he explained that the rehabilitation work of the educational institution is part of the Second Phase of the Metro Plan Moves With You.

“It's a place for the little ones to receive decent training, with new and impeccable spaces. An effort by our working class in the Caracas Metro!” said Velásquez Araguayán.

He also announced that the capacity of this center has been expanded from 64 to 120 children, “they will have their dining room, in the morning and afternoon shifts”.

The rehabilitation work included painting, waterproofing the sports court, lighting, rehabilitation of the dining area, wall repair and leaks.
