Through his Telegram channel, the Vice President of Communication, Culture and Tourism, Freddy Ñáñez, reported that he held a meeting with the general director of the Russian news agency TASS, Mikhail Solomonovich, and the president of the Chinese news network Xinhua.
Ñáñez indicated that during the meeting with Solomonovich
, the progress in the Russia-Venezuela relationship was reviewed, thanks to the
joint work between President Nicolás Maduro and Vladimir Putin.
He also indicated that they reviewed the progress made in
the terms of the cooperation agreement that will soon be signed in Caracas.
“We touch on issues that concern both countries, such as the revival of
fascism in the West with the promotion of social networks and hegemonic
media, the use of artificial intelligence to manipulate reality and stigmatize countries,” he said.
He reaffirmed that soon Russia and Venezuela will take
“action with alliances that favor the union of a free world and in
defense of the truth of our peoples.”
On the other hand, he noted that with the President
of the Chinese news channel Xinhua, the ties of cooperation
between Caracas and Beijing were deepened, with the aim of building a new communication axis.
He pointed out that this cooperation will make it possible
to combat disinformation and the lack of values promoted by the West. At the same
time, he highlighted the leadership of the People's Republic of China in
building a model that promotes a new opportunity so that
humanity can live in peace with the media.
“The objective of this alliance is for peoples to have truth as their main flag, in addition to promoting critical thinking and human sensitivity. Venezuela is ready to move forward with this new model,” he said.
