Minister Ñáñez: BRICS Plus represents a new model for the integration of Peoples

The sectoral vice-president of Communication and Culture, Freddy Ñáñez, considered that the BRICS Plus group is a new model for the integration of Peoples and the alternative of a multipolar world.

In a statement from Russia, for Venezolana de Televisión, he also described the creation of the BRICS as the most important event of the last century.

He said that Latin America must seek the path of union “an attempt was made with UNASUR, CELAC and ALBA, three mechanisms that emerged in the 21st century that are part of the new Latin American mentality; however, what happens with the BRICS will impact humanity, and Latin America must seek its place within this new world that is about to be born, a completely different world, where we are going to see that there is life beyond wild capitalism and imperialism”.

He emphasized that this is the time when colonialism declines and new forms of relationship and integration emerge between small, medium and large countries, a struggle that has been going on for many centuries and is being achieved in these times.

Ñáñez confirmed that Venezuela has been the victim of a media war for years.

“Venezuela has been the victim for 25 years of a media lynching, of media stigmatization, imposed by three or four agencies on the planet, agencies that impose what people should think on Venezuela, have also done so on Russia,” he stressed.

He argued that “Russophobia is one of the most recent media diseases we have seen with Starbuck, they have also done so with Arab countries, the Islamophobia that has imposed itself in Europe and in the world, is a way of managing communication in a biased way and with low interest in a world that no longer gives any more, the unipolar world falls under its own weight”.

He also considered that when a new multipolar world emerges, it must have a new ethics and dynamics of communication, where one can truly know what is happening in Russia, India, China and Latin America; without the imposition of mediations, the matrix or the story and where everyone proposes their point of view by having privileged information “the most important thing about the BRICS group is recognition and cultural encounter”.

In this regard, he pointed out that the strengthening of the BRICS affirms for Venezuela and the world that it is in a new phase.

“There are new powers, those of the Global South, which have developed little by little while preserving their political independence and strengthening themselves. They are the alternative of a diverse world, which advocates the construction of a global balance. The expectations we have with the BRICS are wide,” he emphasized.
