Minister Lotartaro highlights youth participation in the National Popular Consultation

The Minister of Popular Power for Youth, Sergio Lotartaro, reported that entrepreneurial, student, cultural and sports youth mobilized this Sunday in the country's states to participate in the Second National Popular Consultation, and announced that the next election day will be dedicated to this sector of the population.

The official highlighted the organization of youth teams throughout the territory to ensure participation in the choice of community projects. “A united team, an integrated team to bring as much participation as possible to this consultation,” said Lotartaro, who stressed that young people are meeting today to vote for the proposals of each community.

The minister also highlighted the variety of sectors that joined the day. “Young entrepreneurs, youth who study, youth who do culture, youth who play sports,” he said, mentioning that within the communes there is evidence of active youth contributing to the well-being of their spaces and the development of their territories.

Regarding the upcoming processes, Lotartaro announced that the National Executive is preparing a specific consultation for young people. “The next popular consultation is going to be for young people; be prepared, as always, young people are always ready,” concluded the holder of the portfolio, after highlighting the presence of young people in the streets supporting the historic event.
