As part of the revival of the national productive apparatus, the Minister of the People's Power for Ecological Mining Development, Héctor Silva, announced the arrival of 41 new high-performance equipment at the Chocó Plant, located in El Callao, Bolivar State, as part of the strategic actions contemplated in the Venezuela Renace plan promoted by President Delcy Rodríguez.

The announcement was made during a live broadcast with the national president, who was leading a meeting of the Council of Sectorial Vice Presidents and Ministers from the Miraflores Palace.

The owner of the mining portfolio highlighted that this shipment is part of an important logistics deployment that includes a total of 544 equipment, including surface, underground, drilling machinery, mobile units and naval equipment. “This endowment will significantly boost gold and coal production at the Chocó Plant and in the different mining operators in the country,” he said.

“You can count on the working class, with all these men and women who go out every day to extract that mineral and be able to contribute it to our production, because Venezuela is Reborn,” he said.

For his part, Maricruz Martínez, assistant manager of the Chocó Plant, detailed the technical significance of this addition for operations in the region: “All these teams will strengthen and maximize the operational processes that start from drilling, the subsequent hauling of ore from underground and open-pit mines to management yards. This guarantees the supply of our activated carbon processing plant for the gold production process. With this production, we will achieve the socio-economic benefits and development of our country,” Martínez said.
