The Minister of Education, Héctor Rodríguez, called for deepening the training of our children and adolescents in subjects related to the more than 15 thousand years of history that exist on these lands.

“In these mountains, up there, the Caracas Indians lived. How many know about Caracas society, its Caracas Indians? How many of you know about that wonderful man who was born here called Simon Bolivar? How many Peoples in the world can say, when they look back on their history, I have a history of freedom, I have a story from where my People went out to other Peoples to give freedom? How many peoples in the world can say that? , Rodríguez highlighted this Tuesday during the delivery of the Vicente Salias National Educational Unit in Caracas, after being rehabilitated by the Military Community Brigades for Education and Health (BRICOMILES).

In this regard, according to a press release from the Education Department, he called on all Venezuelans to be proud of our identity and kindness. “We have to be proud to be Venezuelans, to defend our identity in every school, in every high school,” he said.

On the other hand, the minister congratulated the work of the BRICOMILES, who together with all levels of government have been working to rehabilitate 15,000 educational institutions for this school year.
