Minister Héctor Rodríguez warned of “avalanche of disinformation” on social networks

The Minister of Education, Héctor Rodríguez, warned this Friday of “an avalanche of disinformation” that exists and has the sole objective of harming the country.

In this regard, through a message published on his Telegram channel, he urged the population to verify information from direct sources, because that “is the only way not to be deceived”.

Rodríguez made the warning, according to a press release from the Education portfolio, due to false messages that are transmitted on social networks and other communication channels on behalf of the ministry and his own.

In his message, he clarified that the official channels of the Ministry of Education are @mppeducacion on Instagram, Facebook and TikTok; while on YouTube the account is @mppeducacionvzla.

As for his personal accounts, he explained that on Instagram and Facebook he is found as @hectorrodriguezcastro; and on TikTok and YouTube he identifies himself as @hectorvrodriguez. In addition, it has the Telegram channel: https://t.me/hectorvrodriguez.

“Everything they can't verify there is definitely false,” he said.
