Minister for Defense visited the Eastern Comprehensive Defense Strategic Region

The Minister of People's Power for Defense, GJ. Gustavo González López, led a day of supervision of the military installations of the Strategic Region for Eastern Integral Defense, where they awarded decorations recognizing the honor, discipline and selfless dedication of the troops.

“The MPPD, GJ. Gustavo González López, together with the Commander of the EDIOR, MG. Denys Ferrer Sandrea, led a day of supervision of the EDIOR military installations, as well as the medical service, the dining room for officers, professional troops, enlisted troops and the command posts of the tactical units stationed in the homeland,” the Ministry for Defense published on the social network Telegram.

He added that decorations were awarded recognizing the honor, discipline and selfless dedication of the troops. “At the conclusion of the strategic meeting, the head of the Defense emphasized that the well-being of the combatant is the absolute priority of the military command, firmly recalling that the uniform does not belong to the wearer but to the Venezuelan people, and service to people is the true value of the patriot soldier,” said the message, which was accompanied by a video of the activity.
