This Sunday, March 30, the sectoral vice-president for Politics, Citizen Security and Peace, Diosdado Cabello, reaffirmed that Venezuela acts in accordance with the Law in accordance with migrants who have accounts with justice.
“We have said it on many occasions, whoever comes there with a criminal record, crimes committed here in our country or with crimes officially claimed by INTERPOL, we act strictly in accordance with the Law,” he said during the reception of compatriots deported from the United States.
In that regard, he indicated that “if they had committed any crime in the United States, they should have tried it in the United States; that is the mechanism. If they assaulted someone there, well, file the complaint accordingly and judge him.”
In addition, he reiterated that the narrative maintained by sectors of the right that all Venezuelan migrants belong to the Aragua Train is a big lie. “It's a big lie that they have been using to stigmatize and criminalize Venezuelans,” he said.
