The sectoral vice-president for Politics, Public Security and Peace, Diosdado Cabello Rondón, highlighted this Tuesday the differences between police forces in the capitalist system and the socialist model.

“There is a dichotomy of what police officers are for in the world. Under capitalism, the police take care of assets, they design them to take care of assets. Under socialism, the police must serve to take care of the people, to take care of the people,” said Cabello during the 23rd anniversary of the Scientific, Criminal and Criminal Investigations Corps (CICPC).

In this regard, the Minister of Popular Power for Internal Relations, Justice and Peace urged CICPC officials to “actively join the tasks convened by brother President Nicolás Maduro, (...) with the experience you have, from the call for seven transformations”, specifically on the subject of security, “to help and give results in the short, medium and long term”.
