Minister Diosdado Cabello: The United States Government mutilates the family

The Vice President of the Policy, Public Security and Peace Sector, Diosdado Cabello Rondón, emphasized that the United States Government mutilates the family.
This was stated at Simón Bolívar International Airport in Maiquetía, in the state of La Guaira, when he received a new flight with 178 Venezuelan migrants from Honduras, where they were transferred in the face of deportation from the United States.
“One of the concerns of some who approached is that they were separated. The United States Government divides families, mutilates the family,” he said.
In that sense, he commented that men go on one side, women on the other, “mothers on the one hand, fathers on the other hand, children elsewhere”.
The minister stressed that “that is the system, it is the dream of some, of how they treat human beings, how they treat children”.
“They stated that they still had their family back in the United States, and they ask that we not abandon those who are there. May this work of bringing them to their homeland continue and the answer is given by the President, the one he has been giving all these days,” he said.
He confirmed that this is a sovereign decision of the Bolivarian Government to seek “all our compatriots wherever they are, wherever we have the opportunity, we will bring them to Venezuela, to rebuild their lives here.”
He specified that of the 178 Venezuelan migrants, 13 are women and 165 men, who “return to their homeland, return to be reunited with their family.”
