Minister Diosdado Cabello: A real cop is like a revolutionary, he never retires

This Tuesday, November 26, the Minister of Popular Power for Internal Relations, Justice and Peace, Diosdado Cabello Rondón, stressed that even if the status of police and investigator is subject to the status of a pensioner or a retiree, “a true policeman is like a revolutionary, he never retires.”

“The sense of smell is not lost, it is getting better and one less revolutionary policeman retires, because he must always be at the service of the people and the country,” he emphasized.

At the National Theater of Caracas, where he decorated the officials of the Criminal and Criminal Scientific Investigations Corps (CICPC), in the context of the 23rd Anniversary of this institution, Cabello stated that the CICPC, “is the best scientific police in the world” while expressing that it was an honor”, to preside over the event.

He greeted retirees and pensioners, even those who belonged “to the old PTJ, the Judicial Technical Police Corps, for the time being.”

The vice-president of the Policy, Public Security and Peace sector, accompanied by the director of the CICPC, C/G Douglas Rico and other authorities, recognized the work of professionals who daily put into practice the scientific and technological knowledge of the internationally recognized institution.
