This Tuesday, November 19, the Minister of People's Power for Energy and Petroleum, Delcy Rodríguez, held a meeting with the managers and oil workers of the Petrocedeño company in the state of Anzoátegui, with the objective of debating and addressing different issues about this industry, which recently suffered a terrorist attack in the country.
Through the Vice Presidency's Telegram channel, it was detailed that during the meeting “they talked about what the workforce means in the oil industry, characterized by being the most experienced in the battle against anti-national factors - foreign and local - that have tried to sabotage the growth of the nation's main industry”.
“The terrorist plans of the extreme right against the heart of the country's oil industry have been met with the invincible and indestructible steel wall that is the will and the national unity of the Venezuelan people to oppose these criminal and perverse mechanisms,” said the Executive Vice President of the Republic.
It should be remembered that the Petrocedeño extra heavy crude oil improver suffered a terrorist attack on the afternoon of November 10, caused by extremist sectors of the national and international extreme right who sought, as the Bolivarian Government has denounced, to leave the country without the supply of diesel during the holiday season. Such actions did not transcend thanks to the contingency programs promoted by the Venezuelan authorities.
