From the facilities of the National Pantheon Monumental Complex and Mausoleum of the Liberator, Simon Bolivar in Caracas, the Sectorial Vice President for Public Security and Peace, AJ. Remigio Ceballos Ichaso, recalled that, as in the past, Venezuela is currently facing a struggle for its independence, in the face of which the men and women of the Republic courageously show their will to be a free and sovereign people

Along with representatives of the different military groups in the country, they commemorated the 213th anniversary of the Signing of the Act of Independence and Day of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB), Ceballos Ichaso, said: We have come to this sacred site, to confirm that we are a free, independent and sovereign nation, heirs to the glories of the Liberator Simon Bolivar and the patriots, who together with our Supreme Commander, Hugo Chávez, elevated us to the principles of love for the Fatherland, by remembering the struggles of the Liberator Simon Bolivar and the patriots, who together with our Supreme Commander, Hugo Chávez, raised us to the principles of love for the Fatherland, by remembering the struggles for dignity, in the face of imperial and traitor attacks”.

During the ceremony, Ceballos recalled the historical events that, in the light of the words of the Father of the Fatherland, “300 years are not enough (...)”, gave way to the events of April 19, 1810, the signing of the Act of Independence, the subsequent battles for independence, which until now have been forging the courage of resistance and struggle in the heart of the Venezuelan people, MPPRIJP press reports.

“That will is reflected in each of the inhabitants of this land and of the glorious Bolivarian National Armed Forces, who day by day overcoming obstacles are following the path of development, prosperity and the future,” he said.

In addition, Ceballos Ichaso indicated that 213 years after independence, new enemies intend to bring back neocolonialism, by promoting coups d'etat, interference and invasions throughout South America and the Caribbean to once again dispossess the people, he said.

“The people of Bolivar, Chávez and Maduro will once again win, giving lessons of patriotism, heroism and courage, for the protection of the people and the guarantee of life and peace,” they said.
