Minister Carlos Alvarado inspected works at the Concepción Palacios Maternity Hospital in Caracas

The Minister of Popular Power for Health, Carlos Alvarado, led an inspection visit to the Concepción Palacios Maternity Hospital, located in Caracas, to monitor the progress of the comprehensive rehabilitation works being carried out in this emblematic healthcare center, a historic reference in maternal and child care in the country.

The intervention is part of the Dr. José Gregorio Hernández Hospital Infrastructure Recovery Plan, a priority policy aimed at dignifying healthcare spaces and increasing operational response capacity in health facilities in the national territory.

The work in progress includes recovery from the obstetric emergency, rooms and hospitalization rooms, as well as the expansion of delivery rooms.

In addition, the tasks include the comprehensive rehabilitation of bathrooms, the renovation of the sanitary network, the waterproofing of roofs and the modernization of essential services to ensure optimal care for users.
