The sectoral vice-president for Politics, Public Security and Peace, Diosdado Cabello Rondón, warned drug traffickers this Friday that the Bolivarian Government's fight against these criminals will not cease.

At a press conference to provide a new assessment of Operation Lightning of Catatumbo in the state of Zulia, Cabello explained that new routes have been discovered by the drug trafficking network linked to the extreme opposition right and former Colombian presidents Álvaro Uribe and Iván Duque.

“We're trying so hard on that route, they're going to look for other options, other ways. For security reasons, I cannot say which other routes (...) I cannot say in which place, because it would alert them, what I can tell them is that this fight will not stop. Wherever they go, we will find them, anywhere in Venezuela,” emphasized the minister of People's Power for Internal Relations, Justice and Peace.
