Minister Cabello toured to monitor checkpoints and patrols in La Guaira

Cabello highlighted the work carried out by these servers to ensure that tourists and residents can enjoy themselves in peace throughout the state of La Guaira.

This Thursday, the Vice President of Politics, Public Security and Peace, Diosdado Cabello Rondón, toured the main parishes of the state of La Guaira where he supervised the checkpoints and the police deployment in the coastal entity to ensure the peace of mind of the people.

During the tour, the head of the Ministry of Internal Relations, Justice and Peace spoke with officials of the Bolivarian National Police (PNB), the Bolivarian National Guard (GNB), as well as the state and municipal security forces deployed in various parts of La Guaira.


Cabello highlighted the work carried out by these servers to ensure that throughout the state of La Guaira, tourists and residents can enjoy in peace all the activities that take place in this tourist region, which enjoys the privilege of being one of the most important Special Economic Zones for the country's development.

During his visit, the Minister spoke with residents of the entity about the importance of the people's co-responsibility in efforts to guarantee security and peace in every corner of the country.


The state of La Guaira is known as the gateway to South America because of its location. It houses the Simón Bolívar International Airport and the Port of La Guaira, the main interconnection terminals for trade and tourism in the country, as well as for much of the South American and Caribbean region.
