From Simón Bolívar International Airport in Maiquetía, La Guaira state, where a plane arrived from Texas, the United States with 175 deported Venezuelans, the Vice President of Politics, Citizen Security and Peace, Diosdado Cabello Rondón, emphasized that these flights are part of the communication between the Government of the North American nation and the Venezuelan authorities.

“There is direct communication with the authorities that allow these flights to depart,” he said and explained that for flights such as this Sunday carried out by a U.S. airline under the responsibility of the government of the North American country, “it leaves there with flight permits over Venezuelan territory.”

He added that, this flight, which becomes the ninth of this year, also joins the Mission Back to the Homeland, which maintains the coordination format, but under a new modality, such as arriving on a plane flying the American flag and unloading through the boarding bridges and not on the runway like the previous ones.

He ratified the position of the Venezuelan Government to continue coordinating these repatriation flights, while reiterating his call for the US authorities to “settle the disorder they have there.”

This flight was supposed to arrive at 9 in the morning and arrive after 2 in the afternoon because of the mess they have there. We had been told that it would be 229 and in the end there are only 175, it's a mess,” he stressed.
