Diosdado Cabello, Minister of the People's Power for Internal Relations, Justice and Peace, recalled that President Nicolás Maduro has called for the merger of “Political-Military People” to guarantee the country's sovereignty and peace.

This was highlighted during a tour in the capital of the state of Aragua, on the night of this Thursday, November 7, when he recalled that Commander Chávez began the necessary civic-military-police union.

“We came from a police charged with repression, charged with a history of repression (...). When the Commander creates the Bolivarian National Police and they all begin to train themselves in a different way so that the People feel that this police belong to them and that, beyond taking care of property, they must take care of the People,” he said.

Minister Cabello added that “when you see a 19-year-old policeman you say: this is it!”

He noted that President Nicolás Maduro has called for civic military police fusion and insisted that this concept “has to be consolidated and the only ones who can do it are us.”

“The peace quadrants, the communal councils and the communes must be working just like you for the well-being of the People. I know that's going to be achieved,” he emphasized, addressing the officials with whom he spoke during his tour of the capital of Aragüeña.
