Minister Cabello: Migrants from the United States tell us “thank you for rescuing us from hell”

The Sectorial Vice President for Policy, Citizen Security and Peace, Diosdado Cabello Rondón, led the reception of the 199 Venezuelan migrants deported from the United States, in the early morning of March 24, and brought to the country by the Plan Vuelta a La Patria.

Cabello boarded the Air Bus 3-40-200 aircraft named José Antonio Anzoátegui, flying the Venezuelan flag, owned by the state airline CONVIASA, where he held a first meeting with these Venezuelans to whom he addressed words of welcome.

“Their first expression is one of joy to be back in their country and they thank us for having taken them out of hell, because the Plan Back to the Fatherland has brought them to their homeland with their family,” said Minister Cabello.

After this meeting, the Minister of People's Power for Internal Relations Justice and Peace, together with security authorities and officials of the Plan Back to the Fatherland, was part of the welcome corridor where some of the migrants stopped to shake hands, a hug or share a word.
