Minister Cabello highlighted the presence of young people in the ranks of the CICPC and the PNB

The Minister of Popular Power for Internal Relations, Justice and Peace, Diosdado Cabello Rondón, highlighted the presence of youth in the ranks of the Bolivarian National Police (PBN) and the Scientific, Criminal and Criminal Investigations Corps (CICPC).

During his speech at the commemoration of the 23rd anniversary of the CICPC, Cabello highlighted the prestige of the scientific police and assured that this is a reason for young people.

“That already fills you with hope. I get a lot of young people in the Bolivarian National Police,” he added while stating that “you keep moving back to your youth years and the dream of being a CICPC, in truth personally, was like that; prestige.”

He said that there are still many challenges to be achieved and “one is to continue to attract young people from our neighborhoods, from our communities to join the UNES (National Experimental Security University) and end up being detectives.”

Finally, he highlighted the need for officials who have been with the institution for years to “teach the youngest the values and principles of a good cop, a good official, a good Venezuelan.”
