This Wednesday, March 19, the Minister for Internal Relations, Justice and Peace, Diosdado Cabello, held a working meeting with the Ministerial Security Council, together with authorities from the police forces and the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB) to establish and coordinate specific work strategies that continue peace and tranquility in the national territory.

During the meeting, Cabello highlighted the plans and programs that have been developed in the country in the area of prevention against organized crime in the country and its borders, with the objective of eradicating criminal gangs.

He reaffirmed that these actions consolidate peace in the country and are carried out under the leadership of the national government of the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro. In addition, he emphasized that officials of the National Risk Management System (SNGR), Fire and Civil Protection (PC) remain active and on permanent alert due to the rainfall that has occurred in the last few hours.

Reference was also made to the Plan Back to the Homeland executed by the Bolivarian Government, stressing that the necessary mechanisms must continue to be complied with to guarantee respect for dignity and human rights, without any discrimination against Venezuelan immigrants who are abroad and wish to return to the country.

In this regard, he coordinated the resumption of flights, with the arrival of a plane from Mexico, which is expected to arrive in the country before the next 48 hours.
