Minister Cabello does not rule out reform of the CICPC Law to strengthen the fight against cybercrime

The Minister of People's Power for Internal Relations, Justice and Peace, Diosdado Cabello Rondón, assured that considering the various events taking place in various areas, a reform of the country's laws is likely.
He recalled that the current National Constitution “was approved in the year 99, it will be 25 years old on December 15, in the first National Referendum to approve a Constitution made in Revolution.”
“Today, in the heat of the moment, it is likely that it will be necessary to reform the law,” he said, referring to the Organic Law of the Scientific, Criminal and Criminal Investigations Corps (CICPC).
In that regard, he mentioned the reform of the Law to strengthen the issue of cybercrime, “we must look for ways to face (...) as we have on the table the viral challenges of girls, boys, our children, grandchildren”.
“How to investigate them and how to impose the full weight of the law on those who intend to disturb our boys and girls, the boys of Venezuela,” he emphasized at the National Theater of Caracas, where he decorated the officials of the Criminal and Criminal Scientific Investigations Corps (CICPC ), in the context of the 23rd Anniversary of this institution.
