Through the social network X, the Minister of Popular Power for Communes and Social Movements, Jorge Arreaza, reaffirmed that “Venezuela's commitment and proposal is to communal society”, given the corporate and communication strategy that sectors of the right are developing around the world.

The rights of the world: neoconservatives, libertarians, neoliberals and neofascists, have articulated a corporate and communication strategy to deceive peoples. However, their projects and proposals are empty of humanity and feelings. They are unfeasible, unnatural in the short and medium term. They will crumble like castles of cards in the face of reality and popular reactions,” Arreaza said on the social network this Sunday.

In view of this, he proposed the necessary preparation from the left to assume the spaces that the right will inexorably lose. “Venezuela's commitment and proposal is to communal society. The State and the economy that arise from individuals interacting collectively, in their immediate and vital territory,” he said.

R also highlighted the importance of having “a State that protects, a mixed economy and a people that appropriate their destiny from their own political capacities, their liberating creativity and their means of production”.

It is important to remember that the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, has on several occasions emphasized the importance of continuing to give life to Popular Power, and community life must expand more and more in all areas and scenarios of the nation. In addition, proof of this is that, among other instructions given in his speech, he ordered that in 2024 the transfer of competencies and resources to organizations of People's Power be guaranteed.
