Minister Alejandro López toured cultural spaces in the state of Barinas

The Minister of Popular Power for
Culture, Alejandro López, toured different cultural spaces in the state of
Barinas, including museums, art schools and centers dedicated to the
promotion of llanera traditions.
During the visit, López visited the
facilities of the Museo de Los Llanos, the Casa Cultural del Alba in Venezuela,
the Librería del Sur and the Casa de la Cultura Napoleón Sebastián Arteaga,
spaces linked to the preservation of historical heritage and the promotion
of reading and the arts.
The agenda included the José
Ángel Lamas Music School, where children, young people and adults receive training in singing and instrumental
performance, as well as the Dana Zarela School of Performing Arts and the
nucleus of the Venezuelan National System of Youth and Children's Orchestras and Choirs.
The tour also included the
José Esteban Ruiz Guevara Theater, home of the Joropo Kariña de
Oro International Festival, an event dedicated to the music, dance and traditions of the Llanera region.
The day was accompanied by regional and municipal
authorities of culture and tourism, as well as cultors,
creators and workers in the sector, who confirmed their commitment to the
preservation of the joropo and the cultural identity of the entity.
