The little ones enjoyed a recreational program that included performances by stilts, a magic show, Nutcracker characters, jugglers and interaction figures that filled the institution's spaces with enthusiasm.
The music also took a special place with the presentation of the group Lester Van Show Parrandero, which animated the celebration with rhythms typical of the season and provided moments of encounter between the attendees.
One of the most emotional moments was the presentation of the boys and girls of the third level, who offered a Christmas dance before their representatives and the workers of the Ministry of Sports.
Christmas message
Deputy Minister Karla Luna highlighted the meaning of these dates to strengthen family ties and share special moments with loved ones.
“Today we meet to welcome one of the most beautiful times of the year, Christmas, which allows us to reconnect and share with our loved ones,” he said.
He also sent a message of affection and good wishes on behalf of the national authorities.
“On behalf of President Delcy Rodríguez and the Minister of Popular Power for Sports, Franklin Cardillo, we send a message of love, peace and good wishes to the entire Venezuelan sports family,” said Luna.
For her part, Roxana Velásquez, a worker at the Ministry of Sports, expressed her satisfaction with the organization of the activity and the enthusiasm of the boys and girls.
“I thought it was a wonderful activity, full of joy and surprises. Seeing our children enjoy, dance and share with their classmates is something very special. We thank the Ministry of Sports for providing us with these spaces that strengthen family unity and allow us to welcome Christmas with love, hope and lots of smiles,” he said.
Union and Hope
The lighting of the tree marked the central moment of the celebration and welcomed the Christmas season within the institution, with a message of fraternity and optimism for all its workers and families.
With this initiative, the Ministry of Popular Power for Sports reaffirms the value of recreation, culture and coexistence as tools to strengthen human bonds and promote meeting spaces for the Venezuelan sports family.
