MINCYT promotes call for 2025 sustainability and innovation projects

The Deputy Minister of Research and Generation of Scientific Knowledge of the Ministry for Science and Technology (MINCYT), Carmen Liendo, met with representatives of the Faculties of Agronomy and Veterinary Sciences of the Central University of Venezuela (UCV), Maracay nucleus, to highlight the key role of universities in the national call for research projects.
During the meeting, Liendo presented the advances of the Dr. Humberto Fernández-Morán Great Science, Technology and Innovation Mission and invited them to actively participate in the 2025 Call for Sustainability and Innovation Projects, open from March 17 to April 17.
He explained that the initiative seeks to promote projects focused on renewable energy, water management, sustainable agriculture, resilient cities, and more, promoting technological and sustainable innovation in the country, according to a MINCYT press release.
This call is aimed at communities, social organizations, universities and companies, public and private, interested in contributing to the scientific and sustainable development of Venezuela.
